In correspondence with the presence of things the eye cannot see, such as sound, scent and life, I trace their texture into lines, photographs and more.

These universal presences that surround us, I capture through techniques and media I can choose precisely because I live in this time, and by deliberately inviting chance and noise into the process, the works themselves stay connected to the "now" and remain open to change.

To capture how what is inherently universal transforms through the filter of its time is, for me, my own form of "sketching from life."
